Disney may take visitor temps when reopened

When this happens, does your face melt off?

No. It really doesn’t.

Now if they shout your name when you get a positive temp screen that might be different

“Hear ye! Hear ye! Drummer_Boy here has a temperature of 101.1! We are alerting everyone to make way as we escort him to the Art of Quarantine Resort!”

But they are not a healthcare provider and as such are not beholden to HIPAA in the same way as healthcare organizations are.

Might as well add a scene to CoP about overcoming pandemics with an awesome animatronic Dr. Fauci.

They’re already reworking the theme:

“There’s a great big, beautiful moment in the future, not yet shining until further notice
There’s a great big beautiful moment in the future, and that moment is who knows how far away.”

Nope. Bread and Circuses to me. Maybe it catches some, but few of those who are sick.
The only reason I had some Purell alcohol hand wipes on hand was because I always have some on hand. I use them all the time. And especially at crowded people places (such as an amusement park).

I really hope this makes all places with bathrooms stock them with paper towels. You can say it’s for the environment, but I hate it. I always use paper towels to pull open the bathroom door.
And yeah, there are a lot of women who don’t wash their hands. The only time I don’t is when the bathroom sink area is just too gross (and no paper towels). Then I use my alcohol hand wipes.

There seems like a trend here among liners with regular body temperatures lower than 98.6. Does lower temperature correlate to a love for Disney and/or Touring plans? Maybe someone should use this for a research project. :grinning:

I am not a germaphobe. I will even confess that I 85% just want to get this virus and get it over with. The 15% of me that isn’t actively looking to get sick is restraining myself because usually when I try to play God I mess it up… My DS19 is also an asthmatic and DH had a stress-induced MI at 35 yo. (He had wide open arteries but a positive troponin.) A little bit of me worries it might not end well.

Now - numbers wise - I am 45% concerned we’ve just screwed up our economy so badly that we might be a hot mess and a political nightmare (more than usual). And with each passing day that number goes up.

Yes! Bathrooms without paper towel where I have to pull open the door infuriate me.

Completely agree. I suppose temperature checks make it marginally safer for those who are not too worried about it anyway.
