Tortola was a dream. We walked from the shop to the ferry boat and bought tickets for the ferry to Virgin Gorda. The ferry took us on a 35 min ride to the island and a truck took us over to The Baths in about 10 minutes. From there we paid a $3 pp fee and were able to walk down and tour the baths on our own. It was empty! After the Baths you wind up at beach with Poor man’s bar. Lunch and drinks were affordable and yummy. We choose to walk back over to Devils bay where we found an empty beach. We played in the water for an hour or so then went up to shop for some souvenirs before heading back to the ferry. This is an excursion that is easy to do on your own and we saved about $250 not going with the tour group. Plus we had it all to ourselves and you can’t put a price on that.
