Oh no. I had read so much about paint not being an issue, maybe I won’t decorate ours. Is it the norm that paint causing issues or? Hhmmmm. Not sure now. Thanks for the info.
Just don’t paint over Mickey. I have painted my pands, but last time left Mickey uncovered, as that is where the antenna was.

Thank you! Those are so cute! Ok, I feel better, I will go ahead and paint them and leave Mickey as is. I will just pick a band color that goes with what I want to paint. I’m so not talented like the rest of you, this should be interesting. 
Good thing we still have a couple of months to decide what we want and I can practice!
By the way, I like your tv tray, we have the same ones!

Thise tv trays are so dang useful. I was able to watch mary poppins while painting.
Dont stress on how the bands come out. I am sure they will be fine. Remember you are your own worst critic.

Ok, I finished our bands. After looking at more pictures on this sight and others. DS16 wanted purple and shapes and symbols no characters. DH wanted blue band with Avengers and I wanted Tinkerbell but she wasn’t showing up well with the color band I wanted so I just went with body art jewelry instead. Will try to get the pics posted below. I notice a few places I need to touch up in the photos or little bits of masking tape I still need to take off that I didn’t see before I took the pictures! They aren’t perfect but everyone is happy with them so I will be satisfied!

I applied a clear coat under the tatoos and this helped prevent cracking. I also added a coat of white under the ratio for the darker colored bands and it helped a ton! I then used a matte finish for the top coat, the. Added glitter polish sparingly.

do you cut them right to the band width or do you use tweezers or a pin to slip it between the blue and black band?
I just cut them to band width.
Anyone used waterslide decals on the magic bands?
