I just think they shouldn’t have used Moana as IP for the attraction at Epcot. But…I have a theory.
I think Journey of Water fits great at World Nature in Epcot. But the similarities to the jumping fountains has made me wonder if they were planning something more long term…that is, the eventual replacement of the Imagination Pavilion entirely. If those fountains will eventually go away as a result, having the Journey of Water sets them up nicely with a reasonable replacement.
Not that I expect a replacement any time soon. But the existing state of the Imagination Pavilion can’t be sustained, really. It is pathetic compared to what it once was. So I think it is likely on the docket for eventual replacement much as GOTG replaced UOE.

The blue sky at least seems more solid? From an IP route ot seems succesful and from a continuity perspective with the rest of the park, I am thrilled.

I misunderstood that, I thought they meant the Awakenings was becoming Zootopia.
