the Merlock name will never catch on, it is a noble goal to try to make it a thing but futile.
Besides, even Joel has said that Merlock is not the name for the whole app just the G+ part so even in this case calling it Merlock would be wrong.

Yes, especially if you want an earlier time. You must be on site to book an ILL prior to park open.

Must be staying onsite at a Disney-owned hotel/resort, or at Swan/Dolphin/Reserve or Shades of Green. If you are staying off-site or even at a hotel near Disney Springs, you must wait until the theme park opens at its official opening time (not the early entry). It works for your check-in and check-out days, as well as any day in between.
