Check in: How are all my June 22 people doing?

Or maybe Jeff Vahle now.

both of those dudes

The tickets have to be added to an existing 2021 resort res by PHONE, and she’s been on hold for hours and been disconnected. yippee! Whereas a brand new 2021 res can be made online (resort & tickets).

The TA call queue was closed to more callers when I tried at 0900. She’s lucky to be on hold.

Hold tight. My TA was able to add my tickets, but was on hold for hours. I was able to make my reservations once my tickets were linked.

I officially have Park Tickets for my June 2021 trip at Gran Destino Tower -Club Level!! That feels nice :orange_heart::yellow_heart::green_heart::blue_heart::purple_heart:

Now I plan to book my back up trip for the same dates in case Club Level still doesn’t exist in June.

My trip is in November and we’re staying at Shades of Green. It took persistence and patience but after waiting my turn on the Space Mtn countdown page to log in to MDE, then again to get to the reservation page, I got the dates I wanted easily. It took a bit more than an hour and the countdown clock kept going back 30 seconds every 30 seconds, then forward a minute, then back 30 seconds, repeat, so I just went about my business and looked in on it on my computer every once in a while. I started this at around 7am PST on Monday, btw.

@annhardt, patience is rewarded. Glad you got the dates you wanted!

So, I did in fact send an email to Mr. Vahle yesterday describing the various travails I experienced 6/22-6/23, how surprised I was by that statement and how wonderful the IT CM I talked to was. Today as I was driving home from work I received a phone call from someone from his office. She said that not only did they read it, but my issues were discussed in their meetings and IT was able to find and fix some more glitches based on what I described. She thanked me for writing and expressed how much they value their PH/guests. She also enjoyed my daughters in the backseat yelling “We love Disney!!” It was very nice to know my concerns were read and considered.

Nice job!!

It seems like the issues with the Halloween party tickets are resolved now. I just tried to book a park pass on another day, which worked. Previously I was locked out after having already made a reservation on the day the Halloween party was booked.

Kind of a silly question but are ice machines at the resorts going to be available?

@ one of the bloggers on Twitter (like Disney Food Blog) since they are all at the resorts right now and trying things out.

Wow that is awesome!!!

Update: after the frustration of Monday and Tuesday, I sent a couple of emails, including one to Bob Chapek and Bob Igor, not expecting a response, of course.
Low and behold, today I received a response. It was from an Executive Correspondence Specialist but frankly more than I expected. She acknowledge the glitches and apologized for the disappointment with the CBSNews article (that blamed the guests for the IT problems).
So, it appears they do recognize how awful the launch was those first two days

I wish they would come out with a new statement, apologizing for their spokesperson’s misspeaking about what happened and recognizing that it was not user error but system error

Yes, that would be nice. And so easy to do

I wish Microsoft would pay me for testing their Windows updates!!
