Can’t get a DAS pass until the day?

It’s 30 days until our trip today (yay!!) and I had read in another forum that this is the date you can request a DAS assessment however when I looked for this, I couldn’t find any information and was reverted back to the home page.

And so I called Disney and they told me I can’t do anything in advance, I have to visit guest services on the day. This is brand new news to me! Has anyone else heard similar or have any advice? My partner and I are both neurodiverse, he identifies as autistic/ADHD and I am ADD and would really struggle with waiting in lines for longer than about 20 minutes.

Hmm, if that is a change it is brand new, as far as I know. The DAS website says otherwise.

Most recently the WDW DAS could be done 60 days before, and you must do a video chat. If you go to the park day of, they would still direct you to video chat.

That’s what I thought and saw as well, i’m quite concerned as it could like look a very different trip for us.

Im by no means relying on it, but if we did get DAS it would change so much for us!

I don’t know about the ADHD and ADD, but the autism should qualify your partner.

I’ve not done it, but make sure you follow the steps on this page: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/disability-access-service-register/

Here’s the thread where we were tracking the DAS changes as they came last year as far as eligibility.

That is weird. It definitely is NOT the homepage for me. Hmm. Perhaps there is an issue with the browser you are using. Maybe try incognito mode, or a different browser???

Oh, wait. @sophlovesdisney , are you in the US? If not, I believe the day-of thing might be accurate.
