That is a tough one Itās like me being sad that my DH doesnāt like wine or coffee.
I like chocolate, but donāt really care for chocolate cake! So that award winning Earlās Court thing just does not sound appetizing to me.
Some of the main dishes in the restaurant are looking more up my alley. Specifically the crispy but smashed potatoes. Everyone is raving and that is one of my very favorite things.
As @SirGreggLadyV will confirm, this is entirely normal. God intended chocolate to be eaten in its natural form, i.e. solid bars made by Cadbury. Anything else is a perversion.
Many cakes are acceptable. Chocolate is not one of them.
And to further clarifyā¦NOT the Cadbury that is made in the United States. The stuff in the US is an abomination corrupted by Hersheyās. Get the Cadbury chocolate made pretty much anywhere OTHER THAN the United States!
Maybe itās my country that has failed her (and by extension me) by creating such crummy chocolate cuz I agree European Cadbury is much better than the bitter stuff we have over here.
Have you tried letting her sit on a training toilet placed on the floor? At Riviera last week, MIL and I both commented on how high the toilet was. It changed how we sit on it so that my feet just touched the floor. I personally found it a little more difficult to do my business.
Iām so contrary. Just reading all the hatred and criticism makes me want to go try it to see if itās worth the hullabaloo. Also, I donāt think it will last very long. I didnāt like the ESPN club at all ā definitely not my kind of joint ā but I do think girly girls who like sparkle are outnumbered by people who love sports bars and sports bar food.
I own QSR restaurants. Not counter service, drive-through coffee, but same premise in that there is no table service. I canāt speak for any other restaurants, but I can say that 100% of the tips we get go to the employees. Thatās both the cash tips they receive in store, and the tips they receive through the app and credit cards. I canāt imagine taking from the employees like that.
My friend I do the majority of my Disney trips with is allergic to chocolate. (Causes Migraines) ā¦I love chocolate, but probably get less chocolate things when I travel with her because I prefer to share.
So, can someone explain to me the ācharmsā that were posted? Are these for bracelets or to add some bling to my $22 cake slice? I am only slightly kidding. Just wondered what the charms were about. Is it like that Pandora stuff? We plan on stopping by there in November and want to be prepared for the expense that will go along with macarons and cake.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned that they are taking reservations now on Open Table but only for a week at a time. There is pretty good availability if you book a couple days before.
I know Iām just hammering a nail in my āOMG, sheās so irrelevantā coffin, but seriously, I just read the menu, and it sounds divine. I want the dang Macarons. I want the Chicken Salade Croissant. I want the Sparkling Lavender Lemonade. (Note: I do not want the porcelain swan cup.) (OK, yes, I do, but not for the additional $60.)
I just ā I just ā I just want it.
:::shaking my head::: I swear, itās not like I can really afford it. I donāt know what Iām going to do. Iāve never gone to Gideonās because it just doesnāt appeal to me. (the theming is adorable, but the treats just look gloppy and clunky and unappealing.) I always go to Sprinkles for the Salty Caramel cupcake. I can be sensible.
Iām just having a very unreasonable reaction to Cake Bake Shop.
Iām sorry Iām so bougie. I canāt help it. Sigh. Thanks for letting me vent.
