Yes. My wife has a couple of pairs of cargo shorts…but even then, her pockets are considerably smaller than the pockets on mine.
How many book per day can you read? Because it’s multiple with my DW! Or she’ll find a web novel / series that has like 500 chapters and gobble it up!
I met her when when we were 16. She’s always been that way. As a kid, her mom would hide her books as punishment! My wife would stash a couple in a bathroom closet just in case! As a young kid, she wondered off from her family while in England because she saw a book store. They spent all day trying to find her!
Seriously though… She’s my best friend. I love, like and accept her. Once you know that’s just how she is, it’s easy to get to know her. It’s not personal, she just likes books more than most people!
I just have on regular jean style shorts, phone stayed in fine.
With a day completely to myself spent reading, I could probably do 3-4 average sized novels. Sadly I rarely if ever have a day completely to myself, but I still read one most days.
A phone will stay in my back pocket but I’d be sitting on it and I don’t risk that on the sofa at home, definitely not on a ride. I can’t keep a phone in my front pockets in most of my jeans, never mind my shorts.
If she has a book on her phone, she can just read while you’re in line! I’ve been known to do that. I’m an avid reader as well. Although life gets in the way, I make time to read everyday. I probably average 2.5 books per week around work and other commitments. That’s probably nothing on your wife or @bswan26’s wife or @missoverexcited , but I definitely read more than the average person.
She definitely does that! She’s not much for small talk, so by the 3rd ride she’s got her phone out reading in the queue. (That gives me time to book FPP #4!)
IOA is dead, we are just walking onto rides. We have express (and don’t feel like it is wasted since we would have stayed onsite deluxe anyway), but it certainly is not needed.
Green with envy!
I’m suddenly craving a butter beer…
Wow, I can’t believe how empty it is!!
I told my husband last night that the worst thing about being pregnant right now is that the lines at Disney are so short and I can’t take advantage!!
That’s when you start booking back up plan after back up plan like I do!
And my firstborn…
We managed to spend from 11am-6pm in the parks today. It was great, so easy to do whatever we wanted, whenever. I don’t think I have ever seen the bank in Escape from Gringotts completely empty before. We ate lunch in the Simpson’s area- DS16 had a burger and DD18 and I had the bulgogi beef tacos. It rained lightly, but that actually cooled it off so was very welcome to us. I just cannot get over how empty the parks are. I kind of hope they never go back to the packed places they used to be.
We came back to the room when the parks closed at 6, and will head to Citywalk shortly to get dinner. These short park hours are so odd, we are used to being in the parks at night, so not sure what to do with ourselves. Maybe we will go play minigolf after dinner.
Love, love, love your trip report!!! So wish I could go now too:joy:

Thanks!
Can you let us know how the mini golf went? We are thinking of doing it in our December trip.
Awesome pictures, thank you! I cannot believe it’s so empty. I hope we will be seeing more “crowds” soon or UOR may have to delay Epic Universe!
Looks like your trip is off to a great start!! Have so much fun with your kids
As always, your pictures are wonderful!!
Thank you!
Thank you, Melissa.
