Best Deck on the Wish?

Can you see the second stateroom available when you’re logged into your account, just not your DW’s?

I could, yes. Now I won’t be able to go back there since I’ve already booked.

:crossed_fingers: hoping it’s just a glitch and you’ll be able to get the 2 you need

I kid you not, I was on hold for 40 minutes and they picked up the second I put shampoo in my hair.

I’m booking a couple of connecting staterooms on Deck 9. It appears to be sandwiched between staterooms on Deck 10 and 8. Any reasons why people recommend 6 / 7 vs 8 / 9?

It actually wasn’t a pain at all to get linked and still get to do everything together. It’s a simple form on the app that you each do each others reservations and then you both can see both rooms. The two accounts just allows you to secure both the rooms you need on the date they first open for Silver.

But if you have a placeholder you have to call to apply it no matter what so you can just call and the agent will make sure you get both rooms and should be able to see that both you and DW are Silver to each get one.

6/7 is a little more centralized to shows/dinners/lounges/Oceaneer (decks 2-5) AND the fun and buffet on the pool deck.

9/10 though will be nice to be close to pool & easy access to get to Marceline’s and Mickey’s Festival of Foods (quick service pool deck food) if you chose the buffet for bfast or lunch. We got BBQ and taco snacks just about everyday from there in between lunch and our late dining.

I’ve never been on this ship

But I’ve never had a stateroom location matter either.

Don’t let the pursuit of “perfect” make you crazy!

Good advice! We were very happy with our staterooms last time and I doubt many people would have considered them to be prime location in the slightest.

The rooms I reserved have Princess & the Frog and Sleeping Beauty themes. My kids are gonna love it!

You can do one room per account per sailing & it’s only for when the early bookings are out. Once it releases to the general public you can book multiple rooms. And on the phone they’zve definitely re-arranged/booked up to three different sailings for me the last time I called (which was the day Gold could book when the last itinerary release came out).

I wish I wish I could apply a placeholder online!!! It would save so much phone time on these release days!

Sounds awesome.

Watch me get an Ariel with my GTY. The only one my kids wouldn’t be head over heels for. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

We used a TA for the extended family cruise (and she was a cousin of DH’s cousins wife so it was helping out family of a family member and she was great, I loved having her to help wrangle the extended fam’s bookings so I didn’t have to do that, but I hated hated hated having to pay for her and run all changes through her for my stuff, so we went back to booking our own after our 2nd cruise).

Glad you got them both booked.

I use a TA and texted her last night with my dates for today and reminded her of the Placeholder number so she didn’t have to search her emails from last year. She texted me at 8:40AM today that my room was booked. I was drinking my coffee at the time. Not waiting on hold is a definite perk. She also calls in my payments when I ask her to. I’ll send her a gift card number and she makes my payments for me.

Hope you got the shampoo out of your eyes.
