Automatic room request feature removed

I paid for a year premium subscription, as many have, and a major part of that reason was the service you offered of sending room requests to Disney automatically. You have chosen to remove that service therefor we are not receiving a major part of the service we paid for. Prorated refunds should be offered to those who purchased under those terms

Welcome to the forum! Although staff will at times read threads and post, a majority of posters here are other users, like you.

If you would like to contact touring plans directly you should use this link.

Before you do that you may want to read some of this thread that explains that Disney stopped the tool and that touring plans will shortly have a new one.

Note: I have used Room Request several times. There hasn’t been even one time that I got the room or area I requested. On questioning Pop Century, they stated they had no such request and didn’t have a clue who Unofficial guide nor Touring plans was. I therefore contacted POP directly for requests. On my most recent trip this April I requested the 60’s buildings upper level which I had gotten for previous trips. On arrival I was given a room in a totally different building and I complained about it. I was told that I could no longer have a room in those building because Disney had change the classification to a premium room and I had only booked a regular room. Disney at it’s money making best.

I know you have reported you have had little success. Since the room assigners were moved to a central location years ago I had great success with the TP request.

The change to the Pop room categories was something that came up when Disney recently updated all room categories. Disney had shared that info and the room finder has the correct info if you ever want to check different rooms in your booking category.
