I thought I’d try TP out by creating a plan for just Fantasyland before lunch. I was able to get everything in, and was surprised. It’s showing very little wait time, which made me wonder if it’s not considering wait times because I’m not a subscriber? Custom Touring Plan: Fantasyland I think I may resubscribe, but kind of wanted an idea first. Thanks!
I’m surprised you were able to make a plan without a subscription but I doubt there is a mechanism to make the crowd levels not be considered if you somehow make it through to build a plan. I could be wrong!
I peeked at your wait times and they seem reasonable, provided you are at the very front of the pack for 7DMT, which is tough to do but not impossible.
If you get behind on that step, everything else will get off track. But you’re not doing any other attractions with long waits, other than maybe WtP, which you will want to hit early or get a LL.
I did have a sub, but cancelled. Maybe it hasn’t caught up yet? I didn’t remember that it was a sub service, but that makes sense.
Hitting SDMT is USUALLY not a good way to utilize early entry. It is very very hard to truly be at the front of the pack. But you may be able to get on two and possible in line for a third lower tier attraction because MOST people are (IMO mistakenly) trying to get to the top tier rides during early entry.
Even you do save some time at SDMT, you are now following the crowd so that everything after it will now have longer waits as well, which kind of undoes some of the advantage.
I would question that 0 minute wait time at 7DMT because that would mean you are literally on theif first coaster out, but everything else is reasonable even if you don’t wind up on the very coaster ride of the day on 7DMT.
This is a direct result of turning on the Rope Drop Mode option in the Advanced section. You can find a similar discussion here: Epcot- FEA RD - what am I doing wrong here?
The scheduler (Optimze or Evaluation mode) does not account for any travel time to get from the hold point to the attraction, thus the arrival time being equal to the Early Theme Park Entry time. It also forces the Wait Time to zero, This is the way you are placed at the Head of the Pack for the first attraction in your plan. To achieve this requires a particularly aggressive behavior towards other guests.
If you turn off the Rope Drop Mode option and Evaluate again, you will get a more realistic representation of what you can expect if you want to make Mine Train your first attraction.
