Yes, I have tried every combination I could think of.
I add him to my list, I remove him, I log in under his account, I log in under my account.
What I can’t figure out: if it is the recovery ticket that is causing the problem, why could I get mine to go through and not DH? That is the thing I can’t figure out.
Wow, I am so happy that it finally worked for you, @Nicky_S you are my hero.
I never had a party ticket, but I was inspired by that discovery to try a similar maneuver. I deleted the one reservation I had been able to make and then was able to book myself for 3 of my 4 stays. On one resort booking for which I have both an AP and a package ticket, it only let me book one day during that stay. And once that one day was booked I was shut down for anything else. Additionally my family is still shut out for 3 out of 4 days on our December package. But I was now able to book all those days even though my AP is not extended that far yet - so it must be on my package ticket. Still really confusing but at least I was able to book more. Still no luck getting through to IT.
I second that!
Thank you @Nicky_S! I’m not even trying to get reservations right now but it’s so nice to see people helping each other out. TP Forum FTW!
I finally got through the queue on chat on MDE, honestly forgot about it because I sent my message yesterday and they had just responded.
I told them my issue was resolved but it seems to have been a holdup with party tickets and others with one day tickets/etc and that it was locking out booking for the rest of days/stays and how I was able to book around it. He said that that was the first he heard of that as a source of the issue and would pass it on to IT since it seems they didn’t really know why it wasn’t working.
Hopefully they can correct it or at least identify the problem so everyone else can finish their booking!
OK are you ready for ANOTHER AP related glitch? But the good news it has a solution.
So if you have an AP, have already booked some but been blocked from any more, and have already checked:
- no extra ticket linked in MDE (solution - reassign it to fake profile)
- no previous MNSSHP ticket (solution - delete that day, book the rest, then book party day)
Do you have an unactivated AP renewal voucher?
I’m just going to paste in a reply because it’s easier!
“ OK - here’s the issue - yesterday when i created the 7th Park Pass - the only one on my Nov reservation - it somehow marked the renewal passes as being “active” meaning a FP+ was created against them. Remember the Park Pass was built on top of the FP+ system and Park Pass Rez’s are effectively renamed FP+'s.
That “FP+” aka the Park Pass rez made their state unchangeable so when the 7 day glitch got fixed they effectively reset the state of folks APs but only activated APs.
But for whatever reason those renewals weren’t reset and when that happens you need someone at the Escalation Team to clear the state and reset it.
So long story short - if you are getting grayed out and have unactivated AP vouchers, call and ask the CS rep to call the Escalation Team to reset the unactivated AP. “
GAWDANG! This is some crazy stuff.
Oh yeah!

Any luck yet?
Been on hold for a resort CM nearly two hours now. Planning to ask about my BC booking and then ask for transfer to IT. My issue seems to be just with package tickets now, not sure I’ve seen that anywhere else. Some booked all days and others will only book one.
Well I drew a bad hand on that call. “We don’t currently have an opening date for Beach Club so no changes are being made yet.” Then said, “don’t forget to make your dining plans 60 days out!” Oh are those open now too? “You can make them at DS and the resorts”. Cripes. Wrong, wrong and wrong.

Hooray!!! After 4 hours I finally got through to IT and the wonderful CM Lily fixed my problem!! We are all set with our park reservations!!
Yay!!! So happy for you!
What did they say the issue was?
At last!
I think that’s everyone now, isn’t it??
It was something she was very familiar with and knew a workaround for thankfully. Something about package tickets and annual pass I think, although it also affected people on my account who did not have an annual pass. The affected person could book only one park day and then no more. Her fix involved detaching the resort booking, creating alternate profiles for the people affected, making park reservations for the alternate profiles and then merging the alternate and the real profiles. She said it doesn’t always work but this time it did. I am so relieved!! Now can relax!!
My goodness that sounds like a huge ordeal just to get a reservation! That code is too complex for its own good.
