Oh there is a badge for that. Too funny. Congrats Marc on your fist badge!
Welcome to the gang! We love abbreviations and emojis. The more the better!
Hahahah!! I gotta get used to this app. Getting lost super easy here in between screens & passwords & pathways &
I use the Lines app only when I’m in the parks, and I created a shortcut on my phone for this online forum
For abbreviations…
The sooner we address the heart business the better.
Here is a spreadsheet that may be helpful
Sadly, I can’t find @Jeff_AZ ’s algorithm!
This is it! Thank you.
Note that, according to the algorithm, even a batshit crazy/offensive post must be hearted if it’s in a topic you created, a reply to your comment, or if you are tagged! I love it!
Today, I received an email. I have a work conference the weekend of 2/3-2/5 - free flight, hotel and food - in ORLANDO!
I would have Saturday evening and Sunday to spend at WDW
I am not bringing the whole family. Too much . But I thought maybe one of the kids would be excited to come with me
Their response broke my heart:
- Mom, we are sick of Disney
- Are you ok? We were literally just there
- I think you have a problem; you need help
- We just want to stay home
I love Judy Hopps.
But my kids would say the same thing.
Different kids at different times.
Oh man that’s rough. Maybe have another one and raise it right this time
Maybe I do have a problem.
Searching the internet to find out if DAA (Disney Addicts Anonymous) is a real group, but it doesn’t seem like it is. The DAA I found is for AA meetings at Disney.
Interesting. I suppose MK is a good place for alcoholics to meet up.
This is an ideal response though @Flavita. You can go and have a completely guilt free solo trip!
One of them also said “Mom, I have friends who have never been to Disney”.
(as if that’s evidence that Disney isn’t all that)
Sometimes I hate that they are been raised in this privileged universe where everything seems so easy.
Leave them at home and go have all the fun as an adult. It’s more fun that way!
Yeah, I’m doing it! First solo weekend at WDW. Finally able to do whatever the heck I want. Complete freedom.
