Creepy AF
You were at the AK taps at 6:50 for 8:30 EE? Is that right?
Omg, no! EE was 7:30.
Recapping my days tomorrow, and I’m collecting some timing info for you.
Thank you! I look forward to all the gritty details!
- EE was 8:00
- 6:46 in line for Pop Skyliner
- 7:11 in line at taps (near front of pack)
- Didn’t note time when taps opened, sorry—I’d guess ~7:38
- We were not held anywhere before the RotR line, IIRC
- 7:43 in RotR queue
- 7:54 at Rey hologram
Combination of BG1 and drops.
My touring success (not just LLs) is probably due to a host of factors:
- starting with a to-do list
- early-entry rope-drop
- Genie+ at HS and MK
- LL drops
- @joelbruick’s BG1
- single-rider lines
- fairly low crowd levels
- minimal park criss-crossing
- solo traveling
- NYC-style walking
- good fortune!
Whew! Okay, here’s the compleat trip list of activities and eats:
KEY
ride
show
food & drink
other activity
CL = crowd level (actual)
EE = early entry
LL = lightning lane (Genie+)
SB = stand-by line
SR = single-rider line
I noted times where I could, based on photos, text messages, etc.

YES! Yall Sunday strollers please move all the way to the right, we are walking with a PURPOSE here But seriously, I always, always speed walk, even if I’m not in a hurry.
I’ll add some thoughts later about the resort, solo travel, etc. And more pics!
Same!
Swoon. Your strong stomach is making me jealous. I can go 3, but when I hit #4 the queasy turns on for some reason.
Sorry that’s me!
There are definite benefits to slowing down and taking everything in vs. rushing from place to place!
I will admit that it took me about a year of living here to get to the point of strolling sometimes I still get caught up in the rush, especially entering a park, when everyone is in a rush!
Oh that’s hilarious, because: I did something in between #4 and #5, don’t remember what. Numbers 5, 6, 7, 8 were in a row, as fast as I could run around from the exit to SR. As I got on #8—fourth in the sequence—I told myself, okay, this is enough, we need to move on. And then about a third of the way through I started feeling a bit queasy! So we have the same limit!
Funny thing is, I absorbed more of the scenery and atmosphere on this trip, too! But not in the early mornings—that’s ride time, baby!
Wow this is amazing! I’m tired just reading it. Also life will never be the same again now that giraffe bread is in it.
sigh
Was it the bread or the butter that made it so delicious? Sigh.
The butter was outstanding, but I’ve had butter that good. The bread was uniquely wonderful.
