ADR day approaches: have I got my priorities right?

Good afternoon everyone

I have my ADR day coming up on the 3rd and that come around pretty fast (probably what happens when your 5 weeks away from a wedding and less than 2 weeks away from changing jobs!) so thought I should pick the collective forum brain regarding my plan of attack

We have a 14 night Honeymoon trip so I have taken into account some of the hard to get ADR’s towards the end of my trip can’t be booked on the 2nd.

Let me know:
-if I’m underestimating how hard anything is to get i.e. try for it sooner
-if you know when the Tiffins ROL package will open
-If I’ll have a problem getting that later dessert party so should book the earlier one with a view to cancelling if I then get the later one
-If the dessert party with table seating is a good idea (I have a back problem so would be more comfortable seated but concerned people might stand in front)
-anything else I need to consider

I would move your BOG breakfast to number 3 on your list. Also, your brunch at Trattoria needs to be at the top too.

Thanks so my trip is from the 2nd May so on the 3rd November can I book things up to the 12th or the 13th of May? I thought Trattoria was outside my +10 window but perhaps not…

Oh, I did not look at that. It can be very difficult to get.

That’s ok, if I can book until the 13th I can do it in the original lot and can then place it at the almost top of the queue accordingly! So thanks for the heads up

I believe it may only be through the 11th? I know it is referred to as 180 + 10 but why am I thinking it is only for the first 10 days? You seem to have some very easy ADRs in the first 10 days and some harder one at the end ?

Also keep in mind that a lot of Disney Springs restaurants can be booked through Open Table (maybe not at 180 days). So if you have trouble getting Boathouse or Homecomin’ through WDW, try Opentable

I am hoping someone else will jump in here but I believe that your 11plus ADRs will need to be booked one day at a time at day 180? Is that what you are planning?

Yes that’s what my understanding was

It is actually 180+10 so you can do the first 11 days at 180 from check in, then at 179 the 12th day, 178 the 13th etc.

I think 12th falls into 180+10 doesn’t it? 180 is 2nd when you check in, then the 10 are 3rd-12th. Everything else moves up accordingly.

I know you usually book long trips. Mousesavers says it is a total of 10 days or really 180 plus 9? I would believe you. It could not be different for US bookings- right?

I was expecting just the first 10 days including arrival day, but was able to book arrival day and the next 10. I can’t see why it would be different for US reservations, but I suppose you never know?

Yes the last few days should be no problem at all to get.

I did find some reports from 2015 that reported up to 14 days. I also found multiple reports of a total of 10 days. Typical Disney…

So now it’s as below, I’ve moved up BOG as suggested but the rest is as was

So I should not have an issue with getting Trattoria or the other later ones at 180 days without the benefit of the +10 part as they fall later in my trip?
