Congrats!! Enjoy!! I am leaning towards going for the upgrade myself. I did the math and I’d break even just for this one trip in March - so if I get more than one trip it’s a bonus (of course having it will make it far too tempting to resist). I like having the option to renew again next year (as long as that doesn’t go away) and hold on to the certificate for a few years.
Originally it wasn’t going to be worth the upgrade, but we added an additional trip in April, so I’m glad they accommodated us, it will save us a bunch.
Is this the “going rate” for those eligible to renew right now?
I am this close to booking a trip for March and am very tempted to see if I am eligible to renew my AP while I’m there. (My pass expired about 10 days before the parks closed last March… I think that means I was in the renewal window when the parks were shut down, so I might be eligible, correct? 
)

Just got off the phone with Passholder Support and I am not eligible to renew. 
My AP expired 10 days before the parks shut down and they are not counting the usual 30-day renewal period, so I missed the cutoff date by this much!

I’m a little disappointed, but I also hadn’t 100% decided that would renew if I was eligible… So the bright side is that Disney made it easy by making the decision for me!

I’m having a real tough time finding the varying prices of renewals of Annual Passes, but did DVC lose it’s discount?
My standard Platinum pass became eligible for renewal this morning, but it’s coming out at $1080.98… isn’t that the standard renewal price and not the DVC one?
That is what I paid for the standard renewal.

Yeah that’s about $267 more than I was expecting. The only thing I could find was from Allears.net and it lists the DVC renewal cost as $813.66 total with tax.
Wow, that’s a good discount!
If you have a blue card you need to call member services to renew with the discount.

Yeah I had to call as well. Renewal for DVC was $611 plus tax

I was able to renew w/ discount online or my app (can’t remember which) w/o needing to call IT
