I just saw this & came to see if it was being discussed yet.

I will be there that week! I’d planned on AK on 11/6, but I will be making adjustments if it truly looks like it happening.

Yay!!!

Pretty sure my entire trip will focus on achieving this… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That’s cool! I’m excited for that to open, and it’s needed for capacity in that park. My next trip begins Nov. 8. That almost certainly means I won’t be able to see it–I don’t have the patience to wait for the amount of time required when things first open!

If Nick is a cop now, shouldn’t he be wearing a uniform?

AP previews are Nov 5 and 6. Per email from Disney:

Passholder previews will take place November 5 and 6, 2025, and will use a virtual queue. Here’s how it works:

First, make a theme park reservation for Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park to have an opportunity to join the 7:00 AM virtual queue for that day.
Next, on the day of the preview, use the My Disney Experience app to request to join the virtual queue. There will be 2 opportunities to join each day of previews.
The 7:00 AM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a theme park reservation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park for that day.
The 1:00 PM virtual queue will be available to any Passholder with valid admission. A theme park reservation is not required.
You do not need to have entered a theme park to join the virtual queue.

I am RD on 11/8 to hopefully see this. Maybe I should warm up my VQskills?

Doubt they’ll do a VQ for regular opening. Bettings it’s LL for that

Previews for DVC members will be Nov 1, 2, and 3. (preview for AP holders is Nov 5 & 6).

"According to early details, registration begins October 23, 2025, for eligible Members who meet the following criteria:

  • You must have a qualifying Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation booked prior to October 19, 2025.
  • The reservation must be made using your eligible Membership on one of the event dates."

Standby as well?

If it follows all the other new attractions the past few years yes it will have a VQ for the first bit of time. I don’t think this will be as difficult to get as GotG but I still think they will use it for at least the first week or so.

I’m kind of bummed about this timing because I arrive Nov. 8 (w/ an AP, staying on my DVC points), so I miss those preview advantages. And unless there’s a VQ, I don’t think I’ll have the patience to wait out the crowds there to see the new thing. So I guess I’m hoping for a VQ because it will boost my odds.

I missed the new Villains show last spring for this same reason. I happened to be there the weekend after official opening, and I didn’t have it in me to wait for a long time. That one never had a VQ–which maybe they never do for shows anyway?

Oh that’s right, I take back my prediction and it’s highly possible this won’t have a VQ. DD said her email stated it’s only 9 minutes long :woman_shrugging:

That’s a good point. At only 9 minutes, they should be able to churn through shows more quickly than many shows and serve more guests per hour. I just looked it up, and I guess ITTBAB was also 9 minutes.

Really?! I thought it was twice that!

According to the internet. :woman_shrugging:
