One idea would be to move to a premier hotel at Universal for one night and do Universal on the busiest day for all parks, which I assume is Saturday You could leave the majority of your luggage at Disney luggage services. With onsite you get early entry and with premier you get express passes (basically unlimited unscheduled fast passes) which should make the crowd not so noticeable. For short hotel stays I like one backpack with the families hygiene stuff and another for electronics and clothes.

I would never go to the same park on consecutive days. Mixing it up seems to make it more “new” and we seem to have more fun.
