Going to DW in late April 2015. Recommendations I read on TP.com (from Len and others) recommend faxing resorts with room requests like 4 days before arrival. I emailed my room request info to my TA, and she responded that she called Disney and had them note my room request info on the reservation… will this work, is this good enough? I don’t want to get argumentative or micromanaging with my TA (right from the beginning I worried that I was the type of personality that should just do it myself). On the other hand, I don’t want to keep mum and not do my best to get what I want.
Yes, that should work fine. However, doing a fax request on your own can’t hurt.

I was sorry I didn’t advocate better for my room selection on a recent trip at WL. The room was fine but I wanted something different and I shouldn’t have left it to chance. Just wanted to support your feelings!
