Is there any trick/tip for getting a window table for party of 3 at California Grill?

Are you wanting a window table for the overall view or are you wanting to try and time this for the fireworks show?

really just want for dinner; we’d go out on the terrace for the fireworks.

If you’re not against eating early, getting one of the first ADRs will help in getting a window table. Those are usually the ones they fill first.

++ @FelisLachesis … Getting an early or late reservation makes will help with getting a window table. Last time I was there (2019) the observation deck was packed, so plan accordingly.

If you arrive for an ADR close to show time, go to the CM at the elevator and as and ADR holder you will get priority to ride up to the restaurant.
