About those OTU points.
Rules are you can only buy them at he point of booking a reservation within the 7 month window.
So you could book a night now, after booking the 4 nights at BWV, and buy 5 OTU points to complete the booking.
Then cancel it. The OTU points are now in your account. Ready to use at the 7 month window of Day 1 of the real BWV reservation.
That would eliminate the worry of whether the transfer would work.
Just make sure:
- the fake reservation uses your BWV contract points
- the fake night you book is over 31 days from now, to avoid the points going into holding
- the fake reservation is in the same use year as the real one, so the OTU points are valid for the real one.
