DH and I will be in MK on Sunday. It’s a MNSSHP day. We do not have EE.
I’ve been looking at the wait times for Sunday party days. They are low, as expected for a party day. My standby wait patience runs thin around 35 minutes! But DH is not wait time impatient at 35 minutes like I am!
So, I’m leaning towards not buying LLMP. We don’t need to ride everything anyway. We will also be back on Tuesday for MNSSHP, which currently has a high likelihood of rain during the party! And when the weather app says it will rain in FL, I have learned that it really does rain!
We will also use BG1 for TBA, which DH has never ridden.
I’ve been waffling on whether or not to buy LLSP for 7DMT and/or TRON. It will certainly make our lives easier! But not spending $60+ on LLSPs means more money in our pockets for other extras! We can also go over our touring plans for Disney Tokyo while waiting in those 2 long lines!
My game plan is to RD HM, followed by PotC. We will look at the wait times for PPF, WtP, and 7DMT after PotC and pick the next attraction.
Two options for TRON standby:
Getting in line around 5:45 pm. The park closes at 6 pm and we don’t have party tickets that night.
Or we could watch the 2 pm parade at the beginning of the route and make a beeline for TRON right after waving at Mickey & Minnie on the last float.
Option 1 would likely use up less park time. Which one would you pick?
Please help me decide whether or not to buy the two LLSPs! And also, do you agree with my no LLMP decision?
The CMs are not nice between day guest hours and party time. They are very aggressive!
When I went to HS After Hours, I was trying to go from Galaxy’s Edge into Toystory Land. There was a row of CMs lined up. I wasn’t allowed enter until they looked at my band. The perceived aggressiveness was more so the words and tone the CMs used.
When I went to MNSSHP last year I was in costume. While I did see CMs asking people, here & there, to show the wristbands they never really checked mine. I wondered if it was because of the costume and how hard it would be to stay without a ticket. I bet it can be done!
However, at MVMCP they were hardcore checking at the start of the event.
Once it gets dark, about an hour after the official start time, they stop checking…
There’s got to be a bathroom where I bet someone could duck in around 6:30pm to wait until about 8pm if they really wanted to try… Maybe put on a costume while in there
Bring your headphones and phone with a movie downloaded to sit and wait!
Yeah the first thing I would buy is LLSP for Tron, then LLMP, then LLSP for 7DMT if I really wanted to ride it (I’d probably pass on it for a couple’s trip though, unless we were going to be there at park close at 11pm. I wouldn’t do it for a 6pm close.)
We (me, DH, DD9 and DS7) will be there at MK this Sunday too, pre-cruise. I ended up buying LLMP for this day but I couldn’t get myself to buy LLSP for Tron or 7DMT. I think we’ll try to rope drop Tron and then hope for a mercifully short wait for 7DMT. I was just there last week for a different (adult) trip and got to try out the LLMP system for the first time and feel I can get plenty of value out of this even for a low crowd day though the refresh game sometimes takes a little longer than what I’ve been used to in the past. Also, we’ll probably hop in the afternoon/evening which will help with the value proposition
Hmmm I did MK on party day (but it was september so I can’t say it will be the same) and we arrived at 8:50 or so (still during early entry but not rope dropping early entry) and Tron was 20 minutes wait (vs being in line in early entry on Saturday which was 90min). We rode it again during the party and it was another 20-30 min. I dunno how it changes in Oktober, but keep in mind tron is not part of early entry so probably people is not on line before (or not that many people) so going on normal entry should be fine
