Wilderness Lodge BRV 2BR - Any fans out there?

We just had a waitlist come through for our Dec. trip and we are now headed to Boulder Ridge. Have stayed at almost all other DVC spots except that one so excited to check it out. Assume the Murphy beds are in and all refurbs are done? 2 baths kind of a bummer since we usually stay in the units with 3 (BLT mostly), but all good. Tell me things! Anything to watch out for or get excited about? (…other than being at the WL for Christmas of course!).

That’s awesome!! Request something that is not on the top floor if you plan to have people on the Murphy beds. The roof line made is so they couldn’t add Murphy beds on the 5th floor.

Do you have a lock off or dedicated? I love, love Boulder Ridge. It’s awesome.

Dedicated. THANKS for that info on the Murphy bed availability. That’s critical.

If you have a baby there is a freaking enormous closet in the dedicated that could basically be a bedroom with a pack n play.

The bus stop was very handy. We stayed here 15 years ago. I can’t believe it’s been that long. :woman_facepalming:t2:

I think the room with the train stuff is still there. That’s cool.

One does have to go outside to access the main building but I appreciated the cover over the walkway.

We were second to last doorway - the hallway is looong. I would be aware of room numbers and offer to wait for one closer to the elevator if first given one very far away.

The Carolwood Pacific lounge with the model trains is in the BRV building.

There is a scavenger hunt at WL too.

Not sure if they still do the family of the day raising the flag.

And grab coffee and cake and then go up to the 2nd floor of the main building lobby. Sit in the rocking chairs or comfy nooks if the rocking chairs are taken. And you can see the totem poles from up there too.
