We are at MK tonight. It is DH’s Birthday. He changed his mind about the Wicked Wind Down at the last minute. I called MS to try to book it. They tell me there is availability, but they are not allowed to book same day reservations. We are on our way back to Riviera for a break, but will return. Any advice other than showing up at TOTWL at 6:00? We have a dinner reservation at that time. Anyone know anyone who can help?

We just stopped at the DVC desk at the Riviera. They could not help.
It’s literally money they are leaving on the table.
I wonder if you might be able to call the BLT front desk at 6 pm and ask to be transferred to TotWL desk? Or perhaps the front desk would have more specific advice for you?

Thank you for the number. I did try that earlier and it just connects to Guest Services. A CM tried to help me out but ran into the same roadblocks I did. We will either have to show up in person @ TOTWL and try to get a reservation or just bag it.
That seems unnecessarily complicated, and I’m sorry you have to deal with that. I hope all works out well for you!
That’s really bizarre! I can’t imagine that they intend to leave tables open, and as you say money on the table on purpose. It must be an unintended consequence of their process. Same-day reservations are allowed for just about everything! So weird. Let us know how you make out.
We went to TOTWL around 5:45 to see if we could get a reservation for the Wicked Wind Down. They did not open the doors until 6:00, but when they did, they were very nice. No problem getting a reservation. Then we left for our dinner reservation.
It wasn’t very crowded at all. The only problem was that we had a 6:30 dinner reservation, and were too stuffed to eat later at the Wicked Wind Down. It was a nice experience for a change, but I think the fireworks are much more spectacular from Main Street. Probably a one and done for us.
If you decide to reserve this, I would recommend skipping dinner.
The 7 layer cake is dinner in itself!
