Slight tangent - Do the DVC resorts have connecting rooms at all? Like, could you get two studios that connect or no…
I’ve stayed in a few of them, but definitely none of mine have been connecting so my brain thinks no.

You could get a studio that connects to a 1BR
But I don’t think any studios connect
Well, though I wonder about Poly…
It’s possible to get connecting studios at the Poly.
All but two studios at the Poly connect, so chances are good as long as you note on both reservations that you are “travelling with #1234567”.
Obviously still not guaranteed, expends how many other people are checking out on your check-in day. But a good chance.
AoA family suites have 2 full bathrooms
As do All Star Movies family suites, which look gorgeous now. And a lot cheaper than AoA.
I booked AoA for thr Nemo suite but if I had to do a budget suite again it would be at ASM to compare. Better kitchen set-up.
My mom really loves the Skyliner - so I hesitate to do ASM over AoA…
I like it for the convenience and time saved and for entering Epcot via IG. But the actual ride is anxiety inducing for me.
I know it’s been a year since your trip, but I had a similar experience with finding room details. We stayed at a place with fantastic blue mountains accommodation last year, and the host was incredibly helpful with detailed info about room amenities and bathroom setups.
For future trips, contacting the resorts directly for specifics can really make a difference. They often have detailed answers that aren’t always listed online, which can save you time and stress, especially if you’re dealing with ride anxiety.
What sort of details? I’m curious about this!
Welcome here! Do you just call the main resort line? I’d be interested to know what info they can give that Disney doesn’t include on the website. Might be worth checking out!
Same here
Once upon a time you could call a Resort and ask for the General Manager and at least get someone on their staff. Now even emails address to the General Manager are often flipped over to a centralized Guest Services team.
About the only thing resort specific lately - when calling - has been Bell Services
