Does anyone recommend watching any specific Harry Potter movies in order to fully appreciate the rides at Universal Orlando and Epic? I really don’t want to binge all of the movies!

For Epic Universe I would watch Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
That being said, you will enjoy all 3 Wizarding Worlds at Universal without watching any movies to prepare. Maybe just watch a couple of videos about Wizarding World at Universal on “Mammoth Club” YouTube channel. She has some great videos where she shows all the “easter eggs” in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade.

These, plus I’d start with Sorcerer’s Stone to get oriented. If you enjoy it, you might even decide to binge!

Unless you have absorbed a lot of info about Harry Potter by osmosis, I just can’t recommend anything but watching them in order. So if you only watch one, watch Sorceror’s Stone. Then watch more if you have time.
I enjoy the Fantastic Beasts series but honestly you should watch the entire HP series first.
That said, if you just want the vibes and not the stories, I agree with Order of the Phoenix and The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Thank you to everyone for all of the replies. I should’ve mentioned we’ve watched all of the movies a number of times when the kids were younger but just wanted a targeted list of movies we should go back to prepare us for the visit.

In that case Order of the Phoenix and Crimes of Grindelwald are great to set the scene for the ride and theming at Epic.
