Going this summer for two weeks 7 people staying offsite. Has to be in the summer and we only have a couple of windows that work. Most at Disney and a couple days at Universal. Would you do Jun 28 - July 12 or Aug 2-16 and go!
Aug 2-16 you might see a gradual drop-off of locals, at least, whose kids would be trickling back into school by then.
I think everyone in the country is on vacation Jun 28-July12

Iād probably go with August hoping for slightly lower crowds.

June for weather (still hot but maybe not quite as rainy and humid, but still hot and humid). August for crowds (should see a significant drop from middle of summer)
