I almost choked on my lunch
ROFL! That’s what we call it!
Mission Space and Astro Orbiter. Both make me want to barf.
I didn’t include this because I don’t count it as a ride, but boy was that 20 minutes I could have spent in a much more fun way during my trip.
So… What was the verdict?
It’s gone? Aww I actually really liked that one . What’s it been replaced with?
How shocking that @umbridgepink is leaving us hanging … ![]()
The worst ride in WDW: Figment
Worst ride at WDW when taking into account the amount of time spent in line: Peter Pan
Most overrated ride: Jungle Cruise (Kilimanjaro Safaris should have put JC out of business)
Nothing yet, but the Encanto ride will eventually occupy part of that space. New Tropical Americas land will replace Dinoland.
Oh. Sorry. Been busy. Buying a car. Maybe.
A reminder: spinning rides were not included.
I think you got them all bar two, which I have blurred. Clue: they are very recent and very surprising.
10th Nemo
9th Gran Fiesta
8th River Boat
7th IASW
6th MFSR
5th Barnstormer
4th Mission Space
3rd NRJ
people are idiots
2nd Speedway
1st Figment
Yeah the two you blurred surprise me. They are both very different but equally immersive. Not mind-blowing, but also not phoned in like some of the others.
Wow. I’m honestly shocked at those two as well. The rest kind of make sense. Even IASW.
Really? How exciting!
I don’t enjoy those two, but always thought I was only who had that view. Maybe I’m the only one among liners, but the general population agrees with me.
MFSR: The storyline in is not compelling. It could have been so much better. The piloting is weird with 2 pilots and pressing all those buttons is distracting and annoying. I’d rather skip the line and ride Star Tours.
NRJ: Rode once a few years ago and don’t plan on riding again. Once was enough. My kids have no desire to go again either.
I have found MFSR to get better and better over time. Maybe because I know what I’m doing now? But I have a lot more fun with it than I did in the beginning. I do think it could benefit from a switch up in the story, which is supposedly coming. The best is when you have an entire crew so you can all yell at each other (words of encouragement only) without being self-conscious. And, you know, you can reach over and pull the lever for hyper space from the left pilot seat if the right pilot is a little slow.

I agree! It is so much fun with a whole crew of friends. One of the only fully interactive rides at WDW.
So true - I’m done with PP. I don’t get it - it’s not worth the wait or even worth LL at this point. My kids are unimpressed.
For decades I was like, “I don’t see the pull for PP!” Then my youngest (of six) decides she loves Peter Pan, the movie, and suddenly I am planning RD around it…
Meh. #3 was a one and done for me. Ok if I need a cool nap, but the wait for this is not worth it (even for a cool nap).
In some ways, the queue to PP is better than the ride itself…but, honestly, the ride is almost worth it just for the moment you fly over London. Admittedly, it doesn’t have the same magic appeal it once did. But we really enjoyed the queue. So many cool details in there.
Whoever said Living with the Land and Carousel of Progress are on this list of worsts? You’re crazy.
With Carousel of Progress, apart from the now dated final scene (which is hard to keep from becoming dated), the theme of that show rings true just as much today as it ever did…and the song is just a great earworm to have!
And LWTL is such classic Epcot. It is one of the few rides left in Epcot that evoke that original Epcot spirit. Educational, entertaining, relaxing, air-conditioned, always changing slightly through the years as they adapt to the times. For me, if I had to choose between only one of Soarin’ and LWTL, despite my love for Soarin’, I’d pick LWTL…always.
Anyhow, for me, the top is DEFINITELY Figment. And probably Grand Fiesta is a close second. (It is dated, and the addition of the Three Caballeros makes the ride lose it’s original focus.) I think it needs to be updated to better reflect the culture of Mexico of today.
