Where do you buy your [comfy] ears?

I do not have a single pair of Mickey Ears and I’m looking to get a pair for my upcoming trip.

I don’t wear headbands because they hurt my ears and it’s especially bad with my glasses.

Please share any recommendations you might have for comfy Mickey ears! Thanks so much

My thin band comfortable ones are from Etsy. They aren’t as cute as a lot of the thick band ones I see, but I can wear them all day. I have to take breaks with the thick band ones.

I got mine in 2019 and they did rip on my 2024 trip. But they are inexpensive. And they are still wearable. The black covering of the metal part poked through on the ends.

I just saw an add recently for a stretchy headband type with ears. I have been having more and more issues with the hard headbands. If I come across yhe link Ill share it here. But you could probably search it on FB.

Most of my ears come from here:

I find them far more comfortable than Disney’s

I didn’t think the headband ears would be confortable and I knew with September heat I would wear a ponytail most of the time so on Amazon I bought cute Minnie mouse ears/bow scrunchies and some that you clip above the pony tail. That way I still had a fun look but didn’t have the discomfort.

Ugh I was searching other threads because I thought I saw someone post an Etsy link somewhere and replied on the wrong thread :joy:
Sorry to whoever gets a notification from a thread that’s super old :joy::joy::joy:

I find it crazy that this is an issue, they really need to address it. I have a tiny head (my hat says it’s for kids aged 8-10) and I still get sore spots behind the ears from the headbands. It’s a lot worse if I wear my glasses.

How is this gone on for so long without them making adult sized bands for those glorious ears?

I made ears for my extended family, and put them on baseball caps. We are from Oz, where it’s “no hat, no play”…. You could always glue your favourites to a hat. If you want, let me know and I can post the images of how I got it to stick best (string grip Velcro strips and lots of glue).

I’m also Aussie  will be quite awhile before I get back, but thanks for the idea!

I’m thankful I don’t have problems with ears hurting my head. That would stink. They definitely need to address the problem.

Or you could use magnets

If you just want the ears…

I’ve purchased from them too. The only problem I have with them is that when I bend over they do fall off my head.

I got myself some adjustable ears (like a elastic headband). The only problem is they’re both for kids and adults so I think I have a too big head and depends of the hairstyle they moved back so I had to hang it to my glasses xD I got them in AliExpress but I don’t think you use that on US

Thanks everyone for responding! I’m thrilled to know I’m not alone with this problem.

Thanks for asking this! I also have the hardest time with ears (they give me headaches AND I need sun protection) I have started getting these and I love them - https://www.etsy.com/shop/KoquiDesigns?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=1750351355&from_page=listing

This is a great shop on Etsy! I have 3 or 4 visors and a couple of bucket hats too.
