Ah, but the military discount tickets are incredibly cheap as well 
when you combo the two, I’d be surprised if it was much worse than APH.
Just peeking at APH prices…the military tickets are much cheaper, especially x5. If you go multiple times a year, APH makes sense pretty quickly, but for one trip, military still comes out way ahead.

I agree!!! My children have decided that I have “broken” FP because I have gotten SO MANY in a single day. The trick is to use your last FP for the day, then while you are walking through the FP line, make your next reservation. By the time you get done with the attraction, your next FP window will be open, and you can head on over to that attraction and ride. Rinse and repeat for as many rides/ FPs as you want/can!!!
