We will be attending the MVMCP on Nov 17th. This will be our first day in a park but we will only be attending the party. It will be my immediate family (Me, DH, DS 19, DD 10), my parents and our older daughter with her husband and their 1 year old. Meeting Sandy Claws is a priority for our 10 year old and I’m trying to decide the best way to do it. We are staying off property and my goal is to be in the parking lot at TTC by 3pm so we can enter MK right at 4pm (earlier if they let us in). Should we immediately get in line for Sandy Claws and see him first or should we hedge our bets that the wait will be shorter at the end of the night and see him on our way out? We also want to see the parade but are planning to catch the later parade. So what would those experienced with the Christmas Party recommend?

2 years ago when we went, we did Sandy during the 1st parade with around a 20 minute wait. I think we got in line shortly after the 1st parade started.
