I think my LL window opens tomorrow and I’m a bit at a loss for WHEN to schedule my ILLs in my day. Clearly not in the morning when I can take advantage of short lines for other things. Should I be doing them for the busiest part of the day? What makes sense?
Looking at ILLs for GotG, Tron, 7DMT, FoP, and RotR
My preferences:
- Tron shortly after dark
- FoP at whatever time time you plan to be at Navi River Journey
- GotG, 7DMT, and RotR whenever you plan to be in the general vicinity
Overall I liked to have my LLMP booked in the morning and LLSP after lunch
Here are the facts:
- The LL queue is longer when the regular queue is longer. But usually still fine unless there are operational issues.
- You will find it easier to get a LLSP for afternoon or evening, especially if you are booking for day 7 or 8 (or earlier if you’re offsite).
That being said, I usually book mine for when I plan to be in the area or for when I want to ride. As was mentioned above, that might me nighttime for certain rides like Tron, 7DMT, etc.
I wouldn’t waste an LLSP on a time when I could ride standby with little wait, like right at park closing.
Assuming I will be the park all day, I generally schedule ILLs for the busiest parts of the day (11:00am-:300pm). At MK in the past, I’ve done 7DMT around 11:30 am and Tron around 2:30 pm (with the hope of grabbing a same day Space LLMP near the Tron time).
I like Tron and 7DMT best in the evening because that’s when the rides are the most fun. Guardians and FOP really depend on when I want to be in that area. Epcot and AK are too large for me to want to zigzag the park. We generally plan those days around where and when we want to eat. ROTR can be any time.
Tron sounds like a plan. As really think that need to make it to where they are not busy as fear Tron is very busy along with Pirates.
