What magic band(s) do you have?

Yes you just stick them on.

Does the glue stay if it gets wet?

My kids swam with their bands in feb, and they didn’t lose any stones. I haven’t tried it. (Not a swimmer)

I will say I’ve had shoes that got SOAKED in a massive rainstorm, so soaked they took a week to dry out. And I didn’t lose a single crystal! Once the glue sets after 24 hours, it’s fairy strong. Maybe try Gemtac or tacky glue…both non-toxic and “waterproof” after they cure. (I don’t like e-6000 or anything vile smelling and toxic)

OMG, I love these!!! Do you place them all individually? Do you use any special tools? Tweezers?

Obviously, I got this one…

Ava picked out this one because she said it had everything she wanted to eat on it…

I have a special tool I use. A magic band is such a quick project when I’m used to working on a pair of shoes that takes anywhere from 10-18 hours to complete! But I’ve been crystallizing things for years…started when I was 12 and I was decorating my skating costumes.

But about 4-5 years ago a lady here in California came up with the Crystal Katana, and its made my life soooo much easier! I used to create a bizarre concoction of wax to make a took, now I just buy one and replace the tip often.

Taking on crystal commissions is a nice little side job to fund the Disney travel a bit!

Just ordered these for my mom and me. The top one is hers, I’m getting her a green band. Minnie will be black with a light pink bow. My band will be purple with a black Minnie and a hot pink bow.

So exciting to be picking out accessories for our trip! Still deciding on which skins to get the kids.
