Hi there. What is your LLMP strategy? I would love to hear from someone who has been recently with the new LLMP setup. I have read get the 3 early so that you can tap in and start booking another tier 1 ride. However after studying thrill data, it seems most rides are booking out late in afternoon or evening beginning in the morning. So is it really beneficial to use all 3 LL early in the morning then you’re stuck doing standby for a long time until late afternoon/early evening? I know there are a few rides that do drops. I’m just wondering if you’re better off doing standby for the first let’s say 2 hours then using LL? What’s everyone’s game plan? Thanks so much! I may be over thinking this haha but probably not. It’s Disney and you gotta plan
I did 1 as early as possible and you can churn through that one in the morning. Use the other 2 slots for your best two pre-books whenever they might be.
I book for when I expect to arrive at the park and go from there
I think our rope dropping days are probably behind us, at least until there are grandchildren on the scene (if ever). So for me this could be late morning, afternoon, even evening.
While Genie+ was better for stacking, I still find that having three rides ready to go when I arrive at park - 4 if I have a VQ or LLSP or 5 if I have both - makes for a perfectly fine experience and I can add on as I tap
That said I would rarely if ever use LLMP for any parks besides MK and HS
I have not been yet, but have a January trip and I am deciding on strategy. I have also been monitoring through BG1 LL behavioral patterns in all four parks.
Please take into account that we have a long trip, staying onsite, will be using early entry, will be leaving the parks around 1pm and return to same or different park between 4:30 and 7pm.
Our strategy in prebooking will be to get all three LLs for morning hours (using BG1 I aim to overlap them for first 90 minutes of park operation). Once I unlock, I am sure we can find at least 2-3 morning LLs. We will fill gaps with shows, LLSP and other activities (snacks, photos, meet & greets).
I may use one of the 3 LLs to book a difficult to get ride for afternoon, while with the other 2 will ride and book. I have spent hours watching inventory released and drops, and I know what rides do not become available and what do.
According to our individual day plan, at one point I will start booking for afternoon/ evening. I will also have a LLSP for afternoon hours and if possible allow a show to work as another filler, along with rides that have almost immediate return times.
An exception to this strategy is Animal Kingdom. For this park I will be booking a early LL and the other two, at the times that suit us (I will be prebooking KS, NRJ and EE). Once there, everything else will be booked on the go and then afternoon LLs.
I intend to use drops for the three HS rides for the days we visit HS in the afternoon. In Epcot I will use the Remy drop. In MK the Tiana drop but all rides have extra releases in MK.
