What is your favorite Moderate?

I’ll be interested to see which you choose!

I actually love CSR. And the pool/slide there is really awesome. I haven’t stayed at CBR yet though. Ironically, for a January trip we also have rooms at CBR and CSR booked and are waiting to see if the SL is closed before deciding. But the Mexican/Southwest theming of CSR is right up my alley. I’ve never stayed in the tower, but if you can get a standard room in the cabanas section, you’re not too far from the main building. I think casitas is all preferred. Ranchos is the section furthest away and I have not stayed out there.

You can. But different cancelation and deposit policies.

That 5th sleeper is awesome.

I really liked Jamaica at CBR for the bus but we’ve not stayed there since the SkyLiner was completed. I’ve always requested Jamaica and got it every time.

This is so good to hear! I’ve got a 5th sleeper booked at CBR for May, and I requested the Jamaica section as well. It’s 4 of us, but I know my DS22 and DD13 will not want to share a bed!

One thing that has not been mentioned about the moderates is which ones do NOT have elevators! Thankfully, it’s only two of the older ones, CBR and POR Alligator Bayou (not the Magnolia Bend buildings). CBR and POR AB are just 2-story buildings. For those with strollers, ECV’s, or bad knees, you can choose to book your resort/room category accordingly, or you can do it with just the room request and hope it works out.

This is why, for us two 65+, we like POFQ and CSR for moderates.

The 5th sleeper worked great for the 4 of us last time. I didn’t have to deal with sharing a bed with a kid (my kids don’t share beds well) and getting kicked in the side all night

If my kids had to share a bed, it would turn into a bloodbath. It’s bad enough they’re going to have to share a room!

I interpreted the poll to mean ‘if cost didn’t matter’ and voted for CBR. but of course cost does matter. At CBR, I think you’re paying extra mainly for skyliner, so you need to think about how important that is for you. That’s what made me pick Pop over All Stars and it was completely worth the price difference. While I’m sure this is a tough choice for you, in the end, those are all wonderful choices and you’ll have an amazing trip no matter which you choose.

Not that anyone cares but I cancelled my secondary reservation. Today’s conversation with my husband  he’s sick of my Disney talk

Out of curiosity, what did the Jack Sparrow image indicate in this instance? “I don’t care”? Or is there a specific phrase that goes along with it?

Caribbean Beach. Pirates.

We obviously have our own married people language

We decided on CBR.

I assumed it was some line from the movie, which I have only seen once and don’t know very well.

I had the same conversation with my wife this week! Well, without Captain Jack Sparrow involved… We went with POR since we’ve stayed at CBR before.
