The last time we went to Disney World was 5 years ago. What are the biggest changes/most exciting things to see? I’ve been doing a lot of reading, but would love to hear from people who have been there recently. Any must do FPP that would have changed? We have two sons ages 13 and 15 and are staying at Pop Century.
Great question! I’m eager to hear the replies, we haven’t been since 2012.
I haven’t been since 2014 myself, but the two elephants in the room are Pandora in AK and TSL at DHS. Frozen ever after has replaced Marlstrom and ther has been an expansion of Norway in EP. There’s a new film in Soarin’. In MK, Wishes has been replaced with a new show that combines castle projections and fireworks. DHS has a number of new SW things; daytime and nighttime shows, a parade, and Hanger Bay. Artist Point is now a Snow White CM meal. There are more “parties” than ever and more ticked “extra hours” events.
I’m sure there are things I missed.
Pretty good list. A few others: Bon Voyage breakfast, New TS in MK Skippers Canteen, BOG dinner is now prix fixe and 2 credits, signature restaurant Tiffins at AK, Rivers of Light at AK. A whole bunch of different characters have been switched out. Anna and Elsa are at Epcot. A few rides closed: The Great Movie ride at HS and Ellen’s Energy Adventure at Epcot.
What is in the Norway expansion?
They e added a second courtyard which is the entrance area for the Anna and Elsa meet and greet. And new bathrooms…
