Stanley knock-off.
I’ve never used one of the real Stanleys so I don’t really have anything to compare it to, but it seems to do the job, and I like that the Mickey head design is pretty subtle. I didn’t even realize based on the website photos that it isn’t just solid black, there are little glossy mickey heads all over, which looks cute without being over the top. There’s a Minnie version that is also really cute, but much bolder. And I like the little pouch for carrying just the critical essentials without needing a bag. I doubt I would have gotten it if it wasn’t for the 20% off coupon though.

Does a new MacBook count since I use it for planning my Disney trips? My old one was to the point that it wouldn’t update the OS any longer and things like Zoom - which I need for some professional development and things - was not functioning 100% correctly.

I treated myself to a second visit to the Kit Kat Club for Cabaret! It was fabulous to see how Auli’i has grown in the role of Sally.
And I hit the stage door this time!

Just saw this Wednesday night! First time, and I really enjoyed it. We got amazing last-minute half-price seats (tables right up front).
BUT—and this is a big but—we had an understudy for Sally and she was not good—she shouted her numbers and spoke with a terrible fake British accent. I thought the guy who played Clifford was pretty bad too—meh voice and wooden acting. And we had an understudy for Fraulein Schneider instead of Bebe Neuwirth to boot.
Adam Lambert and the ensemble were great though. And the pre-show is half the fun!

Bebe must be on vacation - she was out last night too. I saw the actor who usually plays Texas in the role. I thought she did well!
I’m not sure if Auli’i was a previously announced one - if not you technically could have requested a refund (in exchange for not seeing the show). They have gotten really proactive about listing when above title performers are out on a known absence (like when Auli’i was doing Moana 2 press) and you have to do all kinds of acknowledging you understand - or at least I did when I purposely got a ticket for Sunset Blvd when I knew Mandy Gonzalez was going to be in…at least 3 boxes acknowledging Nicole whatsherface was going to be out and then 2 follow-up emails about it. Bebe’s not above the title in this one though.
Just looked. She was announced out for the matinee on 2/5. I guess she didn’t get back in time to do the evening show.
I have not had issues with the actor playing Clifford. Maybe he plays better off Auli’l?
But yes. I love the pre-show. I’m not sure if it was the weather that stopped it or what, but when I saw it early in Auli’i and Adam’s run, the people working the line outside came through and checked IDs and stamped your hand and you got a shot of schnapps on entering. (I’m guessing the schnapps got stopped because of underage people grabbing them.)

We got TKTS tickets at around 1:00 that day and weren’t informed about any understudies. I went with my out-of-towner sister and we probably would still have chosen that show even knowing there’d be understudies in principal roles—but if I’d had any way of knowing how bad our Sally was going to be, I’d have suggested an alternative.

Yeah, that is too bad. Usually understudies are at least passable. Like I said, it must have been last-minute that she was out that evening since she’s not listed as known out for that performance. I just got a ticket for their last Friday performance (and third to last performance) - up in my West Mezz on the front row (the section she walks across when she enters). 
I wasn’t thrilled with the tickets for their actual last the next night.

I just bought myself some of the new body creams from Bath and Body Works “Disney Princess collection.” Timing was good, I needed to restock. Unfortunately, I’m getting them without a chance to smell them first, because today is the first day to buy them for their loyalty members. Which scents? Well, they have a current deal of buy 3, get 3…

I don’t come to the TP pages much, sometimes to look for a TR or other news. I’m not doing Disney much b/c it’s not close. We were at OKW for a few nights before we flew back to the EU. I post pics & stuff on IG for friends/family if you want to connect there @mimsey53 Currently wintering in a marina in Montenegro, it’s been a cold windy winter. Heading to Croatia, then Venice in May. Back to Albania, Greece and then Turkey. We have to keep up w/ Schengen Shuffle grrrrrr (the boat is HeiHei)
