Now we are in panic/disbelief mode. Dh says great! No Thanksgiving drama! The kids are trying to make it a big family trip and I can’t find anything open for the week after. How did this happen???

I need to wrap up this trip report lol. IASW followed by lunch at Pinocchio. I mentioned earlier that we had boarding group 44 for Tiana, but it didn’t start boarding anyone until 11. So it timed out very well for us as we did HM after lunch and walked right on to Tiana. My first successful virtual queue!
Why is there no water flowing over the drop? And why doesn’t the ride photo show the outside?
We didn’t do many photo pass pics because honestly we were drenched in sweat most of the time. But we managed a few.

What a lovely, detailed post with so many fun pictures! My family will experience WDW for the first time this fall and have been trying to learn as much as we can. Thank you for sharing!

As far as spontaneous trips go, this one was great! We knew it would be hot and knew that heat would drain our energy so we didn’t have expectations to do everything. As much as I love planning, it was freeing to just hop on whatever bus was available, walk into whatever restaurant was nearby when we were hungry, or get on the rides we wanted (Air conditioned rides. We wanted air conditioned rides.) I’m guessing the crowds were manageable because it was after Labor Day. I checked every day to see if Magic Genie Lightening passes or whatever they are called now were worth it, but every day the return times were very late in the day and I think our longest standby wait was 30 for Frozen.

I was going to ask you the same question. It was definitely flowing when I rode. I was going to ask if it shut down before you made it over the drop.

Yes, Hulk/Banner. In Infinity Wars when he was trying to get Hulk to come out Banner says, “I know you like waiting until the last minute, but this is the last last minute!” I’ve seen that movie so many times I think even the more obscure quotes are well known lol.

I had to cancel since our passes were blocked that week. The only days I could get were Dec 9 - 13. Dh is on call that week of course so we are hoping someone will cover for him.
