lol I am getting my Mickey bar while we are there.
Ok honestly my first thought was to feel bad for those poor cart CP CMs who will now be forced to argue with the white card (unwashed masses) that no, they cannot have a free Mickey bar!
But the thing is, it’s all booked up! There is extremely limited availability in that timeframe
Also, can we talk about these - for DVC - effectively last minute notices for stuff like this? It really irritates me
I would just give it to them, honestly
I got my free Mickey bar last year at this event and enjoyed it! The mobile order discount is nice too, and we were able to use it twice because my DH and I are both members.
What’s funny to me about this is that I will be on a DCL cruise Aug. 9-16. So evidently on the last day before disembarking I could get a free popcorn? But only for a movie, not a live performance. 
This is absolutely my assumption as to what will happen and I assume others.
The lack of free FREAKING POPCORN on DCL drives me insane.
It is so crazy that it’s comical. Popcorn is probably one of the cheapest foods on board. Which I guess makes for a better profit margin?
How it worked with the Mickey bars last year was they distributed them from a cart that was just backstage (this was DHS), so there was a CM who checked cards before they let you back to the cart. The cart CM didn’t have to check cards. I have no idea how strict they were with white card/blue card.
It’s like those “good to go” days for AP holders. They tell us like 3 weeks before, long after I’ve already made my PP reservations.
Well that’s less impactful I think. You make the reservation but shrug if you don’t use it.
