Welcome emails for new DVC member - a change?

We received our final email yesterday to initiate our new DVC membership buying resale points – YAY!

I do want to note one thing that was different from what I was expecting from reading the posts here. Instead of the expected two emails, there were three for me, and I couldn’t log into the website until I got the third which came a day later.

First email: Had the contract number

Second email: Had the one-time passcode for logging into the website

Third email: Had the member number

I tried creating my account with the contract number and passcode without success. I called customer service and they said I had to wait for the third email with the membership number. She couldn’t say when it would arrive, but it turned out to be the next day, so not so bad.

Not a big deal, but just letting folk know in case that is a change from before.

Now on to our first DVC vacation planning!

At least they come via email now! When I bought I had to wait for the numbers to come in the MAIL!

@melcort10 : Yea, while not for DVC, that certainly was the case for lots of things not so long ago! I guess overall “the internet” gets at least a passing grade. Certainly deserves a “needs improvement” in some areas though! :slight_smile:
