She may have different reasons, but for me the first floor is noisy, both from people constantly walking past your room to get to the elevators, and also people above you. I like the top floor so there is no chance of someone above me making noise and annoying me/keeping me awake. I am curious to hear her reasons.

I don’t like the first floor due to the noise factor @Wahoohokie mentioned, but also because I feel safer from the bugs in upper floors, justifiably or not.

Not a bad plan either. There are so many creepy crawly things there in Florida (at least in comparison to where I live).

@QwertySC, this is my main reason!!! In my head, the snakes won’t climb to the top. It helps me sleep better knowing that

We landed and are on our way with Gear Fusion. Our driver is so cute and hilarious. He’s all dressed up in his suit asking Bethany Disney questions.

Oddly enough the only time I’ve had a critter in my room was when some kind of gecko-thing was in our second floor room at a hotel in Orlando in 1999 across the street from IOA.

This is the one creature I would have no qualms about finding in my room. When I lived in Hawaii growing up, we had them in our house all the time. They eat all the other bugs so they are welcome. And they don’t scare me in their own right for whatever reason.
We have geckos that hang out on our patio here in AZ now. They always appear at the beginning of summer.

We haven’t seen any in our yard yet this year which is weird. We’ve had some copperheads though. Not cool.
