We’re 11 days out from the trip. Mom’s surprise birthday party was a big hit. She said it was her best birthday ever 
She got some Disney gift cards and a Disney bracelet that she was really excited about. She just agreed to a wheelchair for the airport and is inching closer to a scooter. She also has some scans coming up that I half wish she was waiting on until after our trip. But I’m choosing to have faith that she’s fine. We’ve both had kidney cancer, so you always are a little hesitant around scans.

It was a long, long day at work, and I just got home. Tomorrow is my LL day, and I don’t remember what to do 
And also, I’ve never bought the single pass before due to the ease of virtual queues. Is it best to get the LLMP first or secure Guardians?

So I’m still trying to figure out scooter/wheelchair options. We have a lunch reservation at Cake Bake on our Epcot day. I’m thinking that you can not return the chair or scooter to International Gateway. So if we rented in park, my daughter or myself would have to drive it all the way back and then walk back to catch the boat to Boardwalk? That doesn’t seem like a great plan

You cannot take the park rental ECV out of the park.
ETA: I read that wrong. Sorry. Will you be going back to Epcot? If so, you can just park it and come back to it. If not, you should be able to drop off at international gateway. I’ll double-check.

Yes, there is an ECV rental at both entrances.

I just chatted with someone at Disney. She said my mom would have to take it back to the front entrance herself, which definitely wouldn’t work. Because then she would have to walk back to meet us 
She also added that we could leave it and return for it.

My sister just gave my mom a whole themed Disney present for Mother’s Day. A bag, ears, etc…and included a $500 gift card with it

She’s cashing in a bunch of Disney visa points because her family has no interest in going!
I told her I would take her in cooler weather. She has MS and wouldn’t do well with heat.
