I heard a rumour that it is typical for the water rides to be closed in January. Not just the water parks, but the attractions such as Kali River Rapids, Big Splash Mountain etc. etc.
Can anyone comment as to whether this has been their experience? I was really looking forward to both of those 
They are not on a refirb schedule
Now I have hear they will close water rides on cold days, but that is weather dependent.
Disney often uses the ācoldā months to schedule refurbs on the water rides, but if not on the schedule, they should be open. As far as I know, KRR is the only one that will not operate on especially cold days; Iāve ridden Splash when it was 45 degreesā¦
