Watch adapter for Disney MagicBand+

Has anyone used the adapter where you remove the MagicBand+ puck from its own band and attach it to the side of your regular watch band. The idea is that you don’t have to wear your watch on one wrist and the MagicBand+ on the other.

Apparently, removing the puck from the band makes it a challenge to charge it. I see where folks have used a rubber band to hold it in place while charging.

Any one out there that can share their experience with this gadget?

Here is the amazon link for it:

Didn’t someone try embedding it in their skin or something? :rofl:

I’ve never tried this. I like the MB personally.

Did you do this with the previous bands? I removed the puck from my old MB and attached it to my Fitbit and found that extra bulk on the band to be really uncomfortable and awkward to use.

@CharleneTX

I have not used it before. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I usually wear both a MagicBand and a watch. A couple of times though, I accidentally used my watch to tap for rides or Photopass, and it worked! I think all you need is to have the ticket added to Apple Wallet.

Yep. Touring Plans did an article on it.

I love my puck holder and avoiding things on both wrists or too much on 1 wrist.
I have this one from Etsy and you simply turn the puck around to place in the charger. No rubber bands necessary.

I wear my MB on my opposite wrist, and that way I can use whichever tap reader is closest to me as my Apple Watch also works for tapping in.

(Which is to say, you don’t need a MB if you have an Apple Watch and setup Mobile Pass but I always wear my MB)
