There is nothing pressing about doing this, but I was thinking about a potential trip to Disneyland in early 2027. Dates are TBD, but ideally we would use points to book something at Grand Californian. There are just a few times when there seems to be any chance of getting something at 7 months out, so what I don’t really want to do is borrow points out of our June 2027 use year if the wait-list doesn’t go through.
So my question really is if you can create a wait-list at 7 months, with the intention of using borrowed points if it goes through…but preferring not to borrow the points otherwise.

I will have to start doing some research into what will be the best days to head to Disneyland, taking into consideration crowds, weather, and likely availability of VGC coming through at 7 months! But there is time. Just beginning seriously looking at this.
