I didn’t make it to meow wolf, I ended up staying at a hotel on the way other side of the city.. did some walking around and restaurants mostly, didn’t end up with much free time this trip, but I will likely be back this summer.
Only thing I would mention is Ubers are outrageous in Vegas now, a simple drive across town is nearly $40-50 now.
Good news I will be at the Encore with an expense account. But that is nuts about Ubers! Vegas is insane. They have to adjust our meal allowances out there.
DD10 and I were in Vegas last month for a long weekend (Daddy/Daughter 10th bday trip).
The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere was a very cool experience. More fun than I expected. DD loved it!
We saw both O and Ka too. I saw both of the shows 20+ years ago and at the time, I liked Ka more (though both were amazing). This time around I enjoyed O more (but again, both amazing). The ending scene in Ka was tamped down since I last saw it due to the tragic accident so that may have impacted my view (or maybe it is merely a case of changing tastes over the years).
Fly Over (American West) was fun (basically it’s Soarin’ but longer and with different scenes), but I thought it was overpriced. I probably wouldn’t do it again given the cost, but cost aside, it’s a fun ride.
We toured a bunch of hotels and spent some time at the M&M store, the Hershey store and the Coca-Cola store. We made the custom M&Ms with DD’s photo on them.
I can confirm that the cabs were expensive for short trips down the strip. We mostly walked (20,000-25,000 steps per day), but took cabs twice.
