So, once upon a time, valet parking at resorts was free for those with a disability placard/plate. The wording is no longer on the WDW website. Does anyone know if they still do that? like actually experienced it recently?
I asked a CM, who said she thought it was still in effect. However, we know not all CMs know every change. This particular CM was surprised that EEH was moving to AK this summer, so….
From everything but an official “WDW” page, it looks like it’s still in effect. Here’s the TP page from last year:

I finally listened to my sister and obtained a handicap placard last fall (it was a little unsettling how quickly my primary care provider provided the form for the DMV).
My sister absolutely loved having the placard but in some cases, the handicap spaces aren’t very close to the resort entrance. Or, there are only 2 spaces. Which makes free valet parking very handy.
Yep. So true.
A bunch of the deluxe resorts have this issue. The parking lot is still a good 400 yards away from the front of the building at some of these. WL and BW are two right off the top of my head that are guilty of this.
