Hogwarts Express being closed for a large chunk of school vacations is surprising!

I would add that most of Camp Jurassic (except the caves and Pteranodon Fliers) is closed and will be for months. This was listed no where when we went in January and we were very disappointed.

It is not on the list but there is a post on chat that pointed out Pteranodon Flyers has been closed for days (edited to add- actually weeks?).

It (PF) wasn’t running when we were there last Saturday. At least not that I saw.
Stardust being down is really unfortunate. It is not only a people eater, but it is unequivocally the best ride in the park (according to our family 
). But it was having frequent downtime even the two days we were there, so perhaps there is a systemic issue they are finally going to fix…so that will be a great thing if that’s the case.

Universal is not sharing any info, except that it is marked as closed on the app.
Speculation is that it’s an extended closure.

I am wondering if it has to do with River Adventure being closed. When we were there in January, all of Camp Jurassic was closed except for the caves and the Flyers. We did get to ride it but everything else had some pretty permanent looking walls up around it. I thought it must be because of the River Adventure refurb. When I asked, they said it would be closed for a while, but no real details were given. Half of my family wanted to ride again and so the rest waited. It was insane how many people came to ride the flyers that did not have children and were turned away. I would say 75% of people could not ride. I’m sure it’s that way all the time, but part of me does wonder if they got tired of that and just closed the whole area.
