Hey y’all found something I wanted to share immediatley before doing a blog post later.
Universal has made some changes to the UOAP hotel discounts program.
- The max discount has decreased from 40% off to 30% off.
- Discounts are now available for the WHOLE 2026 calendar year. Previously the dicounts would roll out in 3-6 months before the stay.
Right now I am finding $370 nights at Royal Pacific in December 2026, a great deal with UEX!

Do you know when they did this? On the 1st I checked rates for April. I wanted to add one night at a premier. After checking, I changed my flights and came back to the page. In that 20 minutes the page went blank. I started over and the room increased $200.

I booked hotels for December 2026 in June of 2025, and hotels for January 2027 in December of 2025.
Also, I was looking at some dates in 2026 and 2027, and the APH rates were ~40% off.
Yes, it was 40% offup until that morning, as far as I can tell.
I just looked, and saw rates 40% off.

I’m sure it depends on what choices you make as far as dates and hotel. But there are current examples of it being more like 40%. 2/3-2/4 at Dockside being one.

Like @hartcruise if you go to specific dates you can still get 40% off.

So @OrlandoGirl357 and @hartcruise you think @josephmatt ‘s upcoming blog post is wrong?
My experience is that premier resorts jumped $200 on the 1st for an April 20 (Monday) booking.
Although I am looking at a September booking and can see between 25-35%. I would also hope that passholder appreciation days may help those rates in the future.
Thanks to this thread I actually just looked at my Stella Nova booing and rebooked at a cheaper rate.

I don’t know. It’s possible they haven’t rolled out all the changes they intend to, and the prices could go up. I wonder if framing it as an announcement and not a done deal would be a good idea.
And if prices are going up, I should book some backup room if I chose not to go the EP/signature hotel for a night route.

I’m not saying it’s wrong. They might know something I don’t. But max 30% is not my experience. I checked some rates in May too for Helios and it was more like 40%, maybe 38% or something.
